Design your own perfume
Designing your own signature scent is easy, you just (literally) follow you nose!
For beginners it's recommended starting out with a maximum of three essential oils and work up to more complex blends as you get more confident.
Ingredients
10ml neutral carrier oil - we recommend fractionated coconut oil, camellia, jojoba, almond, apricot kernel oil.
5 - 10 drops of essential oil
The perfect blend contains three complimentary notes:
Base notes (20%) - These are the fragrances that will last longer, lingering throughout the day.
Middle notes (50%) - These are what tie the top and bottom notes together.
Top notes (30%) - These are lighter fragrances, the notes that your senses will pick up on first, then will fade into the deeper base and middle notes.
For a 10ml blend you approximately:
2 drops base note
5 drops middle note
3 drops top note
Method
- Mix your essential oils together first until you're happy with you your blend then add you your carrier oil and pour into a 10ml roll on bottle.
To use
Roll on wrists and neck.
Note
Always patch test first to endure your blend won't irritate your skin.
