Watermelon vitamin water

This revitalising facial toner is specially formulated to bring out the best in your skin. It is rich in humectants to keep skin hydrated and is packed full of vitamins C, B3 and E to nourish skin and brighten skin tone. It can also be used as a micellar water to freshen skin and remove light makeup and daily dirt and grime.

This carefully crafted blend includes:

• Aloe vera juice: Known for its soothing and hydrating properties, aloe vera juice helps to calm irritation and provide deep moisture, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and balanced.
• Glycerin: A powerful humectant, glycerin draws moisture into the skin, ensuring long-lasting hydration and a plump, dewy complexion.
• Ascorbyl glucoside: A stable form of vitamin C, ascorbyl glucoside brightens the skin, evens out tone, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a youthful glow.
• Niacinamide: This multitasking ingredient helps to minimize pores, regulate oil production, and improve skin texture while enhancing the skin's barrier function.
• Watermelon glycerite extract: Rich in antioxidants, this extract helps to protect the skin from environmental stressors, promoting a healthy, radiant appearance.
• Kanuka essential oil: Known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, kanuka essential oil helps to keep the skin clear and calm, making it ideal for blemish-prone skin.
• Vitamin E: This potent antioxidant nourishes and protects the skin, helping to reduce the signs of aging and improve overall skin health.

Phase A
84.20% | 210.5g aloe vera juice*
0.20% | 0.50g sodium phytate
3.0% | 7.5g glycerin
2.0% | 5g ascorbyl glucoside (Vitamin C)
3.0% | 7.5g niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
3.0% | 7.5g watermelon glycerite extract

*Aloe vera juice is made with distilled water and aloe vera extract.
For this 210.5g you need for this 250g formula you will use:
209.44g distilled water
1.05g aloe vera extract

Phase B
3% | 7.5g Polysorbate 20
0.50% | 1.25g kanuka essential oil
0.10% | 0.25g vitamin E
1.0% | 2.5g Geogard ECT

Method 

• Combine all the Phase A ingredients, stirring until well mixed.
• Separately combine all the Phase B ingredients, stirring until well mixed.
• Slowly add Phase B to Phase A, stirring until well mixed.
• Check and adjust pH to 5.3 - 5.8. See our blog for more information on adjusting pH.

To use

• Apply after cleansing if using as a toner.
• Spray or pour into a reusable face pad, or directly into hands, and sweep across the face and neck.
• Follow with your favourite serums/moisturiser.
• If using as a micellar water it can be applied as a cleanser directly to skin to remove light make up, sunscreen and daily grime.
• PLEASE NOTE: Due to the essential oil it is recommended to avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs rinse well.

Substitutions

• Aloe vera juice % can be substituted in part or entirely with a hydrosol of your choice, or simply with distilled water.
• Watermelon glycerite extract can be substituted with a different glycerite extract or more glycerin.
• Kanuka essential oil can be substituted with a different essential oil or left out completely, just make up the % with more water.
