Common uses

Aromatherapy: Grapefruit essential oil has a fresh and citrusy scent that is often used in aromatherapy to create a refreshing and energising atmosphere. Its aroma can help uplift your mood, increase alertness, and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.

Cleaning agent: The potential antibacterial and anti-fungal properties of grapefruit essential oil make it a suitable ingredient for natural cleaning products. Its pleasant scent can help mask odours while also contributing to the cleaning process.

Air freshener: The uplifting and invigorating aroma of grapefruit essential oil makes it a great option for creating homemade air fresheners. You can mix a few drops of the oil with water and spray it around your home to eliminate stale or unpleasant odours.

Insect repellent: The strong scent of grapefruit essential oil can help repel insects and pests. You can mix it with water or carrier oils to create a natural insect repellent spray.

Aid in focus and concentration: Some people find that the fresh and invigorating scent of grapefruit essential oil can help improve focus, concentration, and mental clarity. Diffusing the oil in your workspace might contribute to a more productive environment.

Laundry freshener: Adding a few drops of grapefruit essential oil to your laundry detergent or dryer balls can infuse your clothes with a pleasant citrus aroma.

Scented bath: Adding a few drops of grapefruit essential oil to your bathwater can create a soothing and aromatic bathing experience.

Room deodoriser: If you have an area in your home that tends to develop unpleasant odours, such as a bathroom or basement, placing a few drops of grapefruit essential oil on cotton balls and strategically placing them can help freshen up the space.

Safety data: Avoid use during pregnancy.
