Description: Of the many species of Helichrysum, italicum is often favored by essential oil connoisseurs and sometimes is better known to many of its ardent followers, 'Everlasting' or 'Immortelle'.
While Helichrysum italicum may have a high price tag, the oil is highly efficient in small doses due to its potency, and it is shelf-stable. One small bottle of this precious essential oil will go far.
Our Helichrysum italicum essential oil is from Čapljina, Herzegovina. With its location in the south of Herzegovina and proximity of the Adriatic Sea, it has an extraordinary geographical position for production of quality oil.
Using a fully-automated vacuum distillation for extraction, the plant material is distilled using a lower temperature hence achieving a higher quality of essential oil.

Common uses

Aromatherapy: Helichrysum italicum oil is used in aromatherapy to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Inhaling its aroma might help reduce stress, anxiety, and promote a sense of well-being.

Air freshening: The pleasant scent of Helichrysum italicum oil can be used to naturally freshen indoor spaces without relying on artificial air fresheners.

Spiritual and emotional benefits: Some holistic practitioners and users believe that the aroma of Helichrysum essential oil can help with emotional healing, balance chakras, and facilitate a deeper connection with one's spirituality. However, these claims are largely based on anecdotal evidence and personal beliefs.

Massage: When diluted and used in massage oils, Helichrysum essential oil's aroma and potential skin benefits can contribute to a relaxing and rejuvenating massage experience.

Safety data: Avoid during pregnancy; skin irritant (dilute before using externally); may trigger epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals.
