Charcoal Melt & Pour Soap

Create your own homemade soap with our super easy and fun melt and pour soap, featuring just three ingredients: rich cocoa butter, white melt and pour soap... and your own oats! 

Make Your Own Charcoal Melt & Pour Soap

Ingredients
1kg of white M&P soap base 
100g cocoa butter
1 tbsp Activated Charcoal
4ml Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Option - swap out your most loved Essentail Oil

Method

Stovetop: Melt the soap base over the stove in a glass jar.
Microwave: Melt the cubes in a heat-safe container in the microwave in 30-second bursts.

1. Mix the activated charcoal, oil, and essential oil in a small container
2. Chop the soap base into small pieces and melt it in the microwave in 20–30 second bursts
3. Add the oil mixture to the melted soap and stir it in thoroughly
4. Pour the soap into moulds
5. Spray the top of each pour with isopropyl alcohol to remove bubbles (optional)
6. Let the soap cool and harden for several hours or overnight
7. Remove the soap from the mould and enjoy
   
   

   Equipment

   Loaf mould
   Microwave safe bowls/pyrex jugs
   Stirring utensils
   Kitchen scales
   Isopropyl alcohol - optional. Spray to prevent bubbles forming on the top
