Oat Melt & Pour Soap
Create your own homemade soap with our super easy and fun melt and pour soap, featuring just three ingredients: rich cocoa butter, white melt and pour soap... and your own oats!
DIY Oat Melt & Pour Soap
Ingredients
To 1kg of white M&P soap base add 100g cocoa butter
Method
Stovetop: Melt the soap base over the stove in a glass jar.
Microwave: Melt the cubes in a heat-safe container in the microwave in 30-second bursts.
- Melt the two together and stir to blend
- When melted, allow it to cool a bit, about 30ish seconds. Then add the oatmeal and stir to combine. (you can add them as they are or grind them to a finer consistency
- Pour when it is thickening to prevent the cocoa butter from separating
- Pour the soap mixture into the mould
- Allow the soap to set for about 4 hours, then you can unmould. Good to leave it overnight.
