Rainforest Body Butter
Make your own Rainforest Body Butter. This rainforest butter is a unique blend of nourishing ingredients that hydrates and revitalises your skin. Infused with exotic oils and butters, it delivers intense moisture.
Ingredients
200g
Phase A
65% | 130g water
Phase B
10% | 20g NZ walnut oil
6% | 12g Shea butter, wildcrafted
6% | 12g Cocoa butter, organic natural
6% | 12g Coconut oil, organic virgin
6% | 12g Emulsifier O
Phase C
1% | 2g Geogard 221
Method
- In separate pots heat both Phase A and Phase B to 65°C.
- When both are at 65°C pour Phase B into Phase A and blend until thick.
- Allow to cool to 40°C.
- Add Phase C and blend again.
- Spoon into container.
Notes
It’s a shame to use any perfume in this one as the cocoa butter smells so good.
If you want a different odour, use cosmetic deodorised cocoa butter (so that the natural chocolate scent doesn't overwhelm the final product) and 1% | 2g of Essential oil or Fragrance oil - Take the 1% out of the water Phase A.
