Spring luminescence face oil
Make this gorgeous little bottle of luminescence is perfect for putting some sparkle and glow into your skincare routine.
We've used passionfruit seed oil because of it's glorious smell which can't help but uplift and remind you that summer's just around the corner. It's fast absorbing, light and non-greasy and has a low comedogenic rating of 1-2, so it won't clog pores. It’s full of amazing nutrients such as vitamin C and antioxidants which can help firm your skin, while vitamin A helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and the fatty acids set to work plumping and rejuvenating.
Then we've got squalane which is non-comedogenic and good for all skin types, particularly good for dry, sensitive, oily or acne prone skin. It's an excellent moisturiser which leaves skin soft and hydrated, is said to help regulate oil production and help protect skin from free radicals which cause premature signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles.
And coco caprylate, a natural emollient and silicone alternative, makes the blend slide on like liquid silk! Also said to help moisturise and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin E serves as a natural preservative, giving your blend a longer shelf life and is said to nourish skin, restore lost moisture, lighten scarring and hyperpigmentation, slow signs of premature ageing and treat dark under eye circles.
The mica, that's for fun!

To use
Shake before use as the mica will settle on the bottom. Apply a few drops to skin and massage in. Can be worn on its own for a subtle all day iridescent glow which shifts and changes in the light. Also works well applied under foundation to achieve a gentle shine from beneath or mixed with mineral powder foundation as seen below. This mineral foundation was made using the recipe from Marie Rayma's book Make It Up available using our Mineral Foundation Kit including all the ingredients required.
Note
I found mixing this with the powdered foundation was a bit too oily for my personal taste and after a bit of time a tended to settle into the lines on my face. I got a better result from applying the oil first, letting it absorb and then powdered foundation over top.
