Vegan cold process soap features a blend of pomace olive oil, avocado oil, and RBD coconut oil for a nourishing and hydrating wash. Infused with aniseed essential oil, it offers a unique, aromatic experience while gently cleansing and softening your skin.
Make Your Own Vegan Cold-Process Soap Recipe
Ingredients
Makes 1 loaf mould approximately 1kg.
400g pomace olive oil
190g avocado oil
160g RBD coconut oil
250g cold water
107g sodium hydroxide
30g Geranium essential oil (swap this out with your most loved essential oil)
To put petals on top of cold process soap, you need to sprinkle dried flower petals onto the surface of your cold process soap batter just before it reaches trace, allowing them to lightly settle on top; the most common flower to use for this technique is calendula, as its petals retain their colour well in soap and add a beautiful visual element
