Common uses

Aromatherapy: Cypress oil is often used in aromatherapy to create a calming and soothing environment. Its woody and fresh scent is believed by some to help reduce stress, anxiety, and promote relaxation.

Air freshening: The pleasant aroma of cypress essential oil can be used to naturally freshen indoor air. It's commonly added to diffusers, potpourri, or homemade air fresheners to create a refreshing atmosphere

Insect repellent: Some people use cypress essential oil as a natural insect repellent due to its strong scent. It might help deter insects like mosquitoes and flies when diffused or applied to surfaces.

Cleaning products: Cypress essential oil is often used in homemade cleaning products. Its aroma can contribute to a clean and fresh-smelling environment.

Skincare: While cypress essential oil is not typically used for treating specific skin conditions, it's occasionally added to skincare products for its astringent properties, which might help with toning and balancing the skin.

Emotional support: Cypress oil is believed by some to offer emotional support, particularly during times of grief, sorrow, or loss. Its grounding and comforting aroma can help create a sense of stability.

Mediation: The aroma of cypress essential oil is considered by some to be spiritually uplifting and supportive during meditation and other mindfulness practices.

Safety data: Avoid during pregnancy; skin irritant (dilute before using externally); may trigger epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals.
