Enhanced with nourishing shea butter, cocoa butter, and beeswax, this cream deeply moisturises and softens, leaving your skin feeling silky and rejuvenated.
Make Your Own Luxurious Cream
Ingredients
Makes 1kg
Phase A
43% | 430g distilled water
1.5% | 15g Glycerin
Phase B
27.5% | 275g Olive oil
5% | 50g Almond oil
3.5% | 35g Jojoba oil
2.5% | 25g Wheatgerm oil
1.5% | 15g Castor oil
1.5% | 15g Shea butter
1.5% | 15g Cocoa butter
5% | 50g Beeswax
5% | 50g Emulsifier O (Olivem 1000)
Phase C
1% | 10g Geogard 221 (preservative)
0.5% | 5g Essential oil of your choice (optional)
Method
- In separate pots heat both Phase A and Phase B to 65°C.
- When both are at 65°C pour Phase B into Phase A and blend until thick.
- Once formula cools to around 40°C add Phase C and blend again.
- Allow to cool to below 25°C. Check/adjust the final pH to 5 - 5.5
- Cover and leave overnight, the mixture will reach its full thickness and be ready to package the following day.
- Give product a final stir, pour into pot/s and you're done!
Tip: Pre-measure your Last Phase ingredients into a beaker or dish so that it's ready to go.
