Aniseed essential oil

Description: An annual herb, less than a metre high, with delicate leaves and white flowers.

History: Revered by ancient civilisations, particularly in the Middle East. Used in bread-making by ancient Egyptians. Romans hailed it as an aphrodisiac and also used the seeds for a spicy cake mixture called ‘mustaceus’. In India, the seeds are chewed to sweeten the breath and it has been used as an ingredient in toothpastes and mouthwashes.

Aromatherapy: Aniseed essential oil's sweet and soothing aroma can be used in aromatherapy to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere. The scent can help alleviate stress and anxiety, promoting a sense of tranquility.

5ml and 20ml amber glass bottle, with 18 neck dripulator cap, either white or black cap.
30ml, 50ml, 100ml, 250ml amber glass bottle, with 28 neck white dripulator cap (except for oils that are too thick for a dripulator, which have a black open pour cap).
Our bulk volumes of essential oils come in the following packaging
