Cedarwood essential oil Himalayan, certified organic

Description: Cedarwood Himalayan is a tall, evergreen tree standing up to 50m high. It grows extensively on the slopes of the Himalayas in northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

History: Also called Tibetan cedarwood. The ancient Egyptians used this oil to embalm, for cosmetics and perfumery.

Insect repellent: Cedarwood oil is thought to have insect-repelling properties, making it a common choice for natural pest control. It's often used to help keep moths, mosquitoes, and other insects away from clothes, linens, and living spaces.

Aromatherapy: While aromatherapy can have therapeutic benefits, the non-therapeutic aspect involves the pleasant and grounding scent of cedarwood oil. Many people find the aroma soothing and comforting, and it's often used to create a calming ambiance in homes and spaces.

Air freshener: The pleasant and woodsy aroma of cedarwood essential oil makes it a popular choice for creating natural air fresheners. It can be used in diffusers, sprays, or added to potpourri to help eliminate odors and create a fresh atmosphere.

Home cleaning: Some people use cedarwood oil as an ingredient in homemade cleaning products due to its pleasant scent. It can add a natural and refreshing aroma to your cleaning routine.

Emotional well-being: While not considered a therapeutic effect, the aroma of cedarwood oil is thought to promote feelings of calmness, relaxation, and grounding. It might be used in mindfulness practices, meditation, or simply for creating a serene environment.

Cautions: Avoid during pregnancy.
