These bags are made from GMO-free corn starch and can be disposed of in a home composting environment containing heat, water, oxygen, soil and micro-organisms.
They are very sturdy and could be re-used many times before breaking down. We haven't had them long enough to say exactly how long.
They can be used in the freezer.
