Cold-pressed, organic evening primrose oil is extracted from the seeds of the Oenothera biennis plant. Named for its unique blooming cycle, the yellow flowers only open in the evening, giving the plant its common name. Traditionally valued for its rich oil content, evening primrose oil is now widely used in skincare for its unique composition of fatty acids. The cold-pressing method ensures that the oil retains its high concentration of beneficial compounds, including Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) and linoleic acid, without the use of heat or solvents.
