Organic fractionated coconut oil, also known as Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, is derived from organic coconut oil through a process that removes long-chain fatty acids, resulting in a clear to pale yellow, lightweight, odourless oil made up primarily of medium-chain triglycerides, caprylic (C8) and capric (C10). This is a completely saturated oil, making it highly stable and resistant to oxidation. Traditionally used in the cosmetics industry, this oil has become popular for its non‑greasy feel, fast absorption, and long shelf life, making it a favoured ingredient in skincare and haircare formulations.
