Hydrolysed Quinoa is considered a complete protein, packed with vitamins and minerals as well as 17 amino acids, including all eight essential amino acids, which help repair damage to the hair shaft while its proteins coat and strengthen the hair. It can help to gently cleanse and nourish your hair while aiding in hair colour retention, conditioning and protection. Also said to aid in hair growth while preventing breakage, increase shine and healthy appearance of the hair.

Include in water or final phase. In emulsions it should be added once the emulsion is formed and at temperatures below 40°C

Recipes using hydrolysed quinoa
 

HQ conditioner

1. Heat Phase A in a pot on the stove to 80⁰C.
2. Add Phase B and whizz with a stick blender until conditioner pellets are melted and everything is combined.
3. Allow mixture to cool to under 40⁰C while gently stirring.
4. Add phase C and stir until combined.
5. Cover and allow to set overnight and give a final stir the next day before transferring into your container/s.
