Red Hypericum infused oil (St Johns wort)

The perennial Hypericum perforatum (aka St Johns wort) plant is an oil-rich plant whose leaves are densely covered with oil glands and its branched, woody stems swathed with the plant's five-rayed golden yellow flowers.

Our hypericum infused oil is crafted using fresh, spray free, hypericum flowers and buds which creates a beautiful pink-red coloured oil. It is infused using certified organic sunflower oil, chosen for its lightweight feel and skin-conditioning properties. To enhance absorption, also included is certified organic castor oil, known for its ability to improve skin penetration and deliver beneficial compounds more effectively.

This botanical oil makes a gorgeous facial oil on its own or can be used in formulas such as massage blends, balms, creams, and body oils, where it contributes to a nourishing and calming sensation on the skin. Traditionally favoured in herbal-infused skincare, it is valued for its ability to support the skin’s natural barrier and hydration levels.

A beautiful addition to your formulations for moisturising, conditioning, and soothing skincare products. As with all botanical ingredients, individual results may vary, and a patch test is recommended before use.
