This product can be used as a direct substitute for Geogard 221. INCI is the same.
Microcare DB a mild, natural and gentle broad spectrum preservative for use in a variety of personal care products. It is effective against a broad range of bacteria, moulds and yeasts and is ideal for ECOCERT applications.
To be used in products with a pH below 6, though a pH of closer to 5 is recommended for optimal effectiveness.
To be added in the cool down phase of at a usage rate of 0.2 - 1%.
Can be used in both leave on and rinse off products.
