Sacha inchi oil, certified organic

Organic, cold‑pressed virgin sacha inchi oil is derived from the seeds of the sacha inchi plant, native to Peru. Certified organic and extracted at low temperatures without chemicals or solvents, this oil retains its rich profile of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and nutrients. Known for its bright golden colour and characteristic aroma, sacha inchi oil has gained popularity in modern skincare and haircare formulations for its lightweight feel and nourishing properties.

Skincare Uses

Rich in essential fatty acids: With an ideal balance of omega‑3 to omega‑6 (1.4:1), sacha inchi oil is often used in skincare formulations to provide hydration while maintaining a lightweight, non‑greasy finish.

Nutrient‑dense profile: It also contains omega‑9 and a high concentration of tocopherols (vitamin E), which are said to support skin nourishment.

Supports the skin barrier: This oil is frequently included in formulations intended to help maintain a balanced complexion and reduce trans‑epidermal water loss.

Non‑comedogenic: With a low comedogenic rating, sacha inchi oil is often recommended for various skin types, including sensitive or combination skin.

Haircare Uses

Hydrating yet lightweight: Sacha inchi oil is commonly incorporated into haircare products for its ability to add moisture without leaving hair heavy or greasy.

Enhancing manageability: Its conditioning properties make it a popular choice for hair masks, leave‑in treatments, and scalp care products.

Additional Uses

Versatile ingredient: Due to its nutrient‑rich composition and lightweight texture, sacha inchi oil is widely used in DIY formulations, from facial serums to hair treatments and body oils.

Note: Individual responses may vary, and a patch test is recommended before use, especially for those with known allergies or skin sensitivities.
